Are You a Turtle?
If you are, you'll know how to answer that question correctly.
The Ancient and Honorable Order of Turtles ("International Association of Turtles", "Turtle Club", or similar title) started as an informal "drinking club" between American World War II pilots, self-described as "an honorable drinking fraternity composed of ladies and gentlemen of the highest morals and good character, who are never vulgar."
My Cousin Bob, do you know my Cousin Bob from Boulder?, was the one who inducted me in the mid 1960s. I have asked the question, to which I've received the correct response only a few times, but have only been asked the question maybe twice. Of course I did respond correctly. My card looked very similar to the below:
Yes, those are Astronauts James Lovell and Walter Schirra who were Turtles along with President John F Kennedy.
This film will explore the history and future of the society.
In the meantime, please check out our other films:
I have conceived of, and written a lot of documentary films, sometimes as many as three a week. This is in addition to the many other commercial, narrative and TV series work I do.
I've also written several narrative films and a few TV series, but they can't be discussed here.
